We take part in performances throughout the year. Taking on roles of acting, singing, dancing or simply being in the audience.
Dinosaur Poems
In Literacy Class One have been looking at non- fiction books on Dinosaurs. The children found out lots of facts and wrote their own fact files. In small groups they then used these facts to write a dinosaur song, using the tune of Frere Jacque.

Mimika Theatre brought the natural world to life with their puppet story, Landscapes. They came with their big dome theatre and gave us all an amazing experience.
Baubles
This year's nativity play was a great opportunity to practise our singing, dancing and acting skills.
Carol concert
Each year we have a great time performing our Carol concert in St James Parish Church, in Slaithwaite. We perform as part of the Heights Federation joining with the Class one from Clough Head and Wellhouse.
Anti - bullying week
During anti-bullying week we read the story the ugly duckling and talked about how the charcater felt throughout the story. We thought about what makes a good friend and wrote out our songs. We enjoyed performing them.
