This week, Class 3 tried out a traditional Anglo Saxon pastime- weaving! They used traditional methods to create their own knitted pattern.

our learning

For the past few weeks, Class 3 have been learning all about Sutton Hoo, and the historic objects that were found at this ancient burial ground. They have used the image of an Anglo Saxon helmet to compose their own poetry, imagining the history of the helmet, and how it relates to ancient warriors.
