Wilberlee Junior and Infant School

On September 21st 2017 , Year 3 & 4 went to Colne Valley High School for a Primary Pyramid inter-school football competition.
The children enjoyed taking part in 4 different football matches against other local schools and did brilliantly well. Unfortunately we didn't get through to the semi-finals but we were so proud of ourselves and cheered on our federation school Clough Head as they took part in their final match. 

The children loved using Colne Valley's sports facilities and having the opportunity to try new activities in a big hall.

Miss Crowther and Mr Taylor were particlarly impreseed with the team-work and determination on show . Well done!

Class 3 are very lucky to have Mr Purcell teaching them once a week - he is great at music and loves playing his guitar whenever he can. 

The children have been inspired to make their music recently, using different percussion instruments.
