Class 2 Staff
In Class 2, Mr Taylor is the main class teacher. The ETA in Class 2 is Ms Holroyd and the PPA cover every Tuesday is Mr Purcell.
Mrs Clarke is always on hand to assist in Class 2 and will join us for our Maths lessons every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

PE
PE will take place each Monday afternoon. As instructed, your child(ren) should come to school in the PE kit. They will not be expected to change at school and will remain in their kit throughout the day.
We will endeavour to have as many outdoor PE lessons as the weather allows. Please send your child with the apprporiate kit for all occasions.
Theme
Our current Theme is based on The Great Fire of London. We will be using this era as a Literacy and History focus. It will also be used to form the basis of our Art and our D & T learning.
Our Geography learning will be based on the UK and its features.

Maths
Our initial focus will be on the four operations: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. We shall be following the White Rose scheme of learning and we are adopting the concrete, pictorial, abstract approach.
