Multiplications

Year 2

It is a Government and curriculum objective that Year 2 pupils are able to use and recall facts from the 2, 5 and 10 x tables by the end of Year 2.

We will do daily practise in class: songs; verbal testing; weekly written work.

Any time taken at home to work on these will be greatly beneficial to the children.

Rote learning of timetables is seen as being a good form of learning for multiplications.

Each child also has access to Times Tables Rock Stars and this can be accessed from home.
